Just a Regular Monday Update

[15.5 months actual/ 13 months corrected]

Another week of summer things and not many pictures to show for it!  I usually get home and think to myself, I should have taken pictures, but at least I was enjoying whatever the moment was 🤷‍♀️

So this week, we had more practice climbing on things and getting our knee up to facilitate it, we had a lot of fun with this months Lovevery box (and putting random toys in boxes and the bunny house), Madeline took a spill during early intervention right into the dog crate 🤦‍♀️, we worked on getting in and out of our rocking bears, pushed each other on our radio flyer cars, cried a lot when we thought mommy abandoned us, met our West Coast uncles and aunts, hung out at cuzzie's new house, and got a few lessons in sharing when we got a new (fake) roku remote to play with.

Here are the girls with their radio flyer cars - Madeline is pushing Delilah.  Normally, no one is sitting on the car and they can both make the turns on their own just fine, but add a 25lbs sister and that thing's not turning

Here is how the girls let me know nap time is over.  It's mostly Delilah yelling, but you can hear Madeline in the background saying mama lol

Here's how the girls reacted over having to share the roku remote...

Now this video is a bit long (7mins eeeek) but if you've watched this far, maybe you'll watch some more.  I apologize that the camera swings around a bit (I made myself a bit nauseous watching it again).  So the video is first of Delilah trying to get into her rocking bear, Madeline trying to get in on top of her, and then the girls each in their own.  Not like *super* interesting, especially for 7 minutes, but I think it's cute to listen to Delilah make her little noises, and then to see them rediscover all the things their bears do.  I'm biased, but whatever!

So we'll see what the week has in store for us.  It's been quite dreary and rainy a lot in the last few weeks, it doesn't make me motivated to get much done, but we have to get fall daycare sorted out before everywhere is full, I have physical therapy bills to fight about with insurance, and a list of other things to stay on top of.  Did I mention the twins are super needy too? 😑 Don't go too far in case they can't see you anymore!  Ah but like I so often hear, enjoy it!  You'll miss it some day!  Do you people not like your grown children?  I'm starting to get concerned that people only had children for the baby stage, and that seems odd to me!  Anyway, have a great week!
