How Do You Fold A Fitted Sheet?

So, kind of a weird blog post, nothing to do with my babies in particular, but I see memes about how folding fitted sheets (lol, I typed 'shits' first...) is such a pain in the butt that most people just ball it up and throw it in their linen closet until they go to change their sheets again.  I'm kind of a hot mess, but I found the idea of leaving your clean fitted sheet balled up a little irritating, so I youtubed how to fold it.  I found a Martha Stewart video first and figured that would be helpful. But no.  I actually used this one

It took a lot of practice (and I'm the kind of person that gets frustrated if I can't get something new immediately 🙄) but I got it eventually, and that's how I've done all of my fitted sheets since then.  Now add in twins, for awhile I had constant spit up on their sheets, the pack n play, the changing pad cover, my sheets.. so I figured for anyone else who has a ton of fitted sheets to do, I would share my own videos on how to do it.

I was once told by my US History II teacher that I did not have a voice for radio, so I'm sorry if these videos sound awful!  But hopefully they help someone so they aren't stuck with a mess of clean sheets!

The first video is with a fitted crib sheet

The second video is another fitted crib sheet, but it was a dark sheet so it was more contrast-y

And the third video is with a queen size fitted sheet just so you could see that you can do the same thing with any size fitted sheet - I use it for the crib sheets, changing pad covers, play yard sheets...  The first two videos were like a minute and a half, a minute 45, this one was just over 3 minutes, and I was stopping to make sure I could see what I was doing on the camera, so it doesn't take ages to do.

Leave a comment or post on the IG if the videos helped you at all!
